Why are we doing this?
This is part of a larger branding exercise - to brand Observatory as a cool neighbourhood, to encourage people to buy local and to make Obs the go-to place once again. We think that letting people know what's on in Obs through some reliable and up-to-date listings will contribute to that.
Over time we will also list other local businesses as part of the effort to build the Obs brand.

Who are we?
We are a couple of long-term, committed local residents who want to contribute to the survival - and flourishing - of our village in these tricky times and beyond.
We are liaising with the local Obs organisations - OBSID, OCA, Streetopia, and AfrikaBurn - and hope to work co-operatively with as many people as possible to ensure that this website, and other media which will follow, plays a role in making Obs the vibrant place to be!
